The general contractor is the construction manager that is hired by the client to get advice on the project of construction. According to the law of the United States, there is no federal licensing is required to become a general contractor but there is only a need for a local license to operate in the United States as a general contractor. Some general contractors are required to obtain a bachelor’s degree in construction building science and serving.
